Learners do not see an assignment while it is a draft. Once you publish it, the Available from setting determines when they can access it.
To make an assignment available immediately
Leave Available from at the default setting: Immediately upon assignment. When you publish, the assignment will appear immediately for learners.
Note: All assignments within your ‘Active’ tab on Manage Assignments are visible to learners.
To schedule an assignment for the future
Set the Available from to a date in the future, and then publish the assignment. The assignment will be hidden from learners until the Available from datetime arrives.
Assignments that are published but are not yet visible to learners will appear within your ‘Scheduled’ tab on Manage Assignments.
