What SonoSim content can I include in an assignment?

You can build a SonoSim assignment from one eligible module or DMS protocol. Choose all the available content from that source, or select only the work your learners need.

What can I include?

From a single eligible module or DMS protocol, you can include:

  • Lessons and individual knowledge checks

  • The mastery test

  • SonoSimulator® Scanning Tasks

Can I use content from more than one module in the same assignment?

No. Each assignment uses one module or DMS protocol as its starting point. To assign work from another source, create a separate assignment.

What content is not available in Assignments?

Some SonoSim content is not yet compatible with Assignments. For incompatible modules and DMS protocols, the existing PDF-based Module Assignments and DMS Protocol Assignments remain available separately.

The following content is not currently available in SonoSim Assignments:

  • Study content: SonoSim Test Preps, including SPI Test Prep, and QuestionBank

  • SonoSim LiveScan® & CaseBuilder

  • Challenge Cases

The following Advanced Clinical modules are also excluded:

  • Introduction to Breast Ultrasound: Advanced Clinical

  • Predialysis Vascular Mapping: Advanced Clinical

  • Resuscitative TEE: Advanced Clinical

The following DMS protocols are excluded:

  • DMS Aortic Iliac Artery Protocol: Vascular

  • DMS Extracranial Cerebrovascular Protocol: Vascular

  • DMS GYN Comprehensive Protocol: Obstetrics/Gynecology

  • DMS Lower Extremity Venous Protocol: Vascular
