Are there notifications about new assignments or assignment updates?

At launch, learner notifications in SonoSim Assignments cover feedback only. You’ll receive an email when your instructor:

  • Publishes new feedback on images you saved for an assignment.

  • Updates previously published feedback on those images.

Each email includes a link to view the feedback for that assignment.

How to tell learners about new assignments

If you want to alert learners to new work, copy the learner link and share it in your own email, course announcement, or learning management system (LMS). Only learners assigned to that work can open the link, and a scheduled assignment will not open for them until its Available From date and time.

More notifications are coming

We plan to add notifications for new assignments soon after launch, along with alerts for assignment changes (such as due date updates). Other notifications are also planned. We’ll update this article as soon as they become available.
