How does the SPI Mock Exam work?

Question Breakdown

The SPI Mock Exam is a two-hour timed exam comprised of 110 questions. These questions are dynamically pulled from a pool of over 1,500 questions, meaning that each time you take the Mock Exam it will be different. There is no limit to the number of times you can take the Mock Exam.

Even though the questions will be different each time you take it, the Mock Exam always has the same ratio of questions from each domain in alignment with the ARDMS SPI Content Outline. Each Mock Exam attempt will have the following percentage of questions from each domain:

  • 23% from the 'Perform Ultrasound Examinations' domain

  • 7% from the 'Manage Ultrasound Transducers' domain

  • 26% from the 'Optimize Sonographic Images' domain

  • 34% from the 'Apply Doppler Concepts' domain

  • 10% from the 'Provide Clinical Safety & Quality Assurance' domain
